Reviving Hindu identity of Nepal

In a controversial statement during a press meet held on Wednesday November 6, 2013, Chairman Kamal Thapa of Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal said that the support for the movement to revive Nepal’s Hindu identity is being received from Hindus across the world does not tantamount to foreign interference.
“One hundred and eighty million Hindus have provided their moral support to once again revive Nepal’s Hindu identity,” he revealed to the media.
“Their wishes to see Nepal readopting its Hindu identity cannot be considered the foreign interference,” he said.
India knows how to define interference.
To recall, October 13, 2013 Kamal Thapa had called on the Chief Minister of the state of Gujarat and Prime Ministerial Candidate of India’s Hindu Fundamentalist Party Bharatiya Janata Party, Mr. Narendra Modi at the State capital.
Narendar Modi is also "excessively" close to Nepal's former Monarch.
Thapa went on to tell the media that, “There are Hindus not only in India but Hindus in other parts of the world who too have been providing support for the movement.”
“We are very much confident that our party will be in a very strong position after the election. We assure the Hindus in Nepal that their identity shall be revived however, we will also ensure that it will not hurt the sentiments of other religious groups.”
Interesting statement indeed.
“We are clear on our stand. We want a political system where Monarchy, Maoists and other democratic forces could be accommodated at ease.”
“We are receiving overwhelming response from public because we have been always clear on our stand in favor of reviving country’s religious identity and national independence". Thapa claimed.
